The Cosmati were a Roman family who were experts in the art of decorative geometric stone mosaics in the 12th century. Such was the beauty they created over four generations that this art-form now bears their name, and their work has inspired our new table linen collection made exclusively for Cabana. The collection features tablecloths, napkins, and placemats made with 100% linen and 100% hand-spun, hand-woven cotton embellished with hand embroidery and handmade tassels. The color palette evokes the antique mosaics that filled medieval churches and palaces across the Roman and Byzantine world.
